Simply Convert takes the hassle out of unit conversions with one handy calculator for just about everything. From everyday stuff like feet and inches to meters, to more specialized ones like hectares to perches, or kilopascals to PSI, it’s got a huge range of metrics covered. Whether you’re deep in an engineering project, reading old documents, or just doing some DIY around the house, it gives you fast, accurate conversions across dozens of categories.
Finding exactly what you need is easy too, thanks to quick search and the colour-coded tiles that sort things like length, area, pressure, and volume. It keeps things clutter-free, so you can jump straight to the conversion type you want.
It also keeps a history of your past conversions, so you can always look back at something you calculated before. Click on a history item to calculate using the same settings.

FAQ
Are all unit types covered?
No – the list isn’t every type of unit and only stretches back in time hopefully far enough to cater for me practical purposes.
Can I add more unit types?
Sorry, no – but let us know if we have missed one out that you need and we can do an update.
Help
Is there help available on the app?
Help is shown on pressing ? on the home screen and is also shown here:
Simply Convert
Simply Convert converts between units across six areas – Common, Engineering, Fluids, Electricity, Magnetism and Science – entirely offline.
Converting
Pick a conversion type, then a unit to convert from and to, enter a quantity, and tap Convert. The Convert button only becomes active once all three are filled in.
Conversion types
Common covers everyday units like length, weight, volume and temperature. Engineering, Fluids, Electricity, Magnetism and Science cover more specialised units – for example pressure and force, flow rate and viscosity, voltage and resistance, magnetic flux, and molar mass or radioactivity.
History
Every conversion you make is saved to History, so you can look back at previous results. Settings lets you choose how many recent conversions to keep.
Settings
Settings lets you switch between light, dark or system theme, and set how many conversions History remembers.
